I am a screenwriter, film festival programmer and script consultant.

Happy announcements:

-My co-written feature-length script, ‘On the Water Surface’, is currently in post-production.

-My feature-length screenplay, ‘Home Sounds’, entered Stowe Story Labs in 2023, and is on its way into another draft and production possibilities.

-My TV Pilot, ‘Blue River’, has been picked up by Art & Essai in Montreal, Canada and entered Netflix-BANFF Media Festival and MIDPOINT‘s Pitch Programs.

A Berlinale Talents Screenwriters alumna and an ex-film critic, I participated in international film festivals as a film critic and served as a juror.

Currently, I’m thoroughly enjoying my position as director of programming at the Academy-qualifying Bend Film Festival in Oregon, USA–recently named “One of the Coolest Festivals in the World”.

I have recently published a personal book on the process and perils of screenwriting:
Adventures in Screenwriting: How One Writer Navigates the Dire Straits.

When not writing and programming, you can find me–semi-successfully–mothering my two lovely sons in Bend, OR.
